Biography
I graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 with a degree in English and a minor in Religion.
In 2003 I received my MFA in fiction from UNC Wilmington. Since that time, I’ve published articles in The Carolina Times, a Wilmington magazine, Christian devotionals in Devo Zine, and a new literary journal, The Ankeny Briefcase.
I've written a novel, Horseshoe Circle, about two young girls and best friends who begin their lives in the same place but find themselves going in very different directions. If I were to compare it to published works I'd say it's a cross between Beaches and House on Mango Street. I’ve also written a collection of stories entitled Faith and Kissing all about women dealing with men, God or both.
I am currently soliciting agents and/or editors.
