This past Friday, I got a chance to fly in a Cessna 206 - the type of airplane that MAF does all of their training in and most of their in-country flying in. There is a man here in town, J.C. Harder, who owns a 206. He is a designated FAA examiner and a strong advocate of missions aviation. It is a blessing to have him here and giving me a heavy discount to get some training in this airplane. He is leaving for Alaska the beginning of June with his 206 so we are trying to get some flights in before then even though the time is pretty short. This is all in preparation for my technical evaluation.
