Last Wednesday through yesterday, we were in Panama City Beach, the Rosemary Beach area, for my niece's wedding. It was a destination wedding for the Tennessee bride and groom (and all their family) so everyone was going to be in PCB for at least four days or as long as a week. We decided to turn it into a family vacation as well, renting a small beach house a mile from their's. We didn't do anything as a family this summer so it was fun to have this down time together and away from home.
While the boys could have been in school practicing letter writing (Blue) or working on ABC order and thousound's place (Kaden) they were instead, hanging out in pajamas playing the Wii... (which is particularly exciting to them because we don't have any sort of game system)
Splashing around in our pool or jacuzzi (which wasn't set to very hot):
Playing in the game room at the other beach house (these places are outfitted!):
Or ya know... being at the beach! And with aunts, uncles, and their older, super-model looking cousins to play with, these were particularly fun beach days:
Most days we were on the beach in the morning, back at our house in the afternoon so Toby could nap while the big boys swam in our pool, and then out for dinner and family time at "the big house" every night.
A totally relaxing time. We avoided terrible weather back at home. We celebrated a beautiful couple.
(At the rehearsal. The bride wants to be the first to release wedding pics and I'm not about to scoop her!)
Perfect.
