In the beginning I doubted my decision to let Toby take over my childhood bear as his own.
When Teddy lost his nose because Toby literally tried to chew his face off, I mourned that my formerly pristine bear was now, well, noseless.
But when Toby grabs Teddy and a blanket off his bed and I find them snuggled together somewhere in the house I'm happy with my choice.
Today, after lunch, I finished cleaning the kitchen and Toby hopped up and grabbed his favorite snuggly things. When I finished and found them, I went to get a few books to join them, but apparently I plopped down too close to Teddy when I did. Toby looked wide eyed and said, "Oh No! Teddy!" And then pulled his bear to his other side.
Oh sure, Toby can chew his nose off, but don't SMUSH him, MOM!
